A safety fence is a part of the safety system which provides a physical barrier, besides other safety measures such as electric control elements and signs, instructions training etc.
Pre-defined safety zones are fenced off with safety fencing (fence segments, doors and similar), lights and other barriers. Opening any door automatically stops devices from working in the protected zone. Safety light curtains usually protect open entrances and exits when there is no physical barrier.
Dimensions of the elements, the size and the shape of openings and other specifics about the fence are made according to current machine safety regulations.
