The primary purpose of the machine is to make a closed ring out of paper which is pre printed in two, (if specified, 3) colours. Banknote bands are formed from a roll of paper, printed, cut, and finaly stuck together in the shape of a ring.
The function of this machine can be devided into individual sections which perform independant operations:
Two colour printing
A paper strip ranging from 130 to 280 mm in width is unrolled, and winds through two sets of paint rollers. Each set applies colour from a cliche, which inturn creates the imprint wanted (text,hallmark,marker, toning, etc.)
Paper segment stacking;
The paper segments cutouts are banknote bands, which are directed to the machine module which provides regular stacking, i.e. exittingmachine. When exitting the machine, bands are vertically oriented and directed into a continuous line on the stacking table. When on the table, the segments are ready for the next packing stage.
